today we had our very first garage sale! and it was wildly successful (for our first garage sale), and we got to unload a lot of stuff before the big move!

I feel a great affinity with this work and the eloquent write up at the Corcoran Gallery. According to the review, the work "speaks to the complex intermingling of daily routine and chance events, and the ways in which life intersects with art."
I know this is more a documentary photo of Anna Maria Horner's work in progress, but I think this is a beautifully composed narrative of a time line, resonating with that of a cross-section of a tree or sedimentary rock and I love it.
